On the 19th lap, the top car dropped out due to a driving mistake, and Ayumu Iwasa moved up to 10th position and entered the point acquisition range. After that, Ayumu Iwasa finished in 10th place, suppressing the approaching successor. He earned points following Race 1.
“I’m very happy to win Race 1, and I think it’s a result that will lead to the future. However, in reality, the pace was not enough compared to the surroundings and the machine balance was not very good, so I was helped by a course that was difficult to overtake. I think there are some aspects. The balance of the machine is not good, so the load on the tires will increase accordingly, and the tires were in a tough condition at the end. I expected that to happen, so with the team We had a lot of discussions about tire management, and the management itself was fine, but it was still a pain at the end. Race 2 started with used tires. The machine settings also changed significantly. I also tried various changes in driving. I think it was good as a try, but the pace was still lacking compared to the surroundings, and the balance of the machine did not improve. Race 3 was 10th. I will start with new tires from the beginning, so I would like to try aggressively overtake. In order to improve the machine as much as possible and clear the driving issues, I will hold a meeting with the engineer firmly and face Race 3. increase”
