Recently, Honda officially launched the global strategic travel Elevate, which will be sold first in India. The starting price is about NT$400,000. Japanese media pointed out that it will be introduced to Japan in the first half of next year, and there will also be an e:HEV petrol-electric model that is not available in India. The opponent will focus on the Toyota Yaris Cross, which is similar in stature.

The new Elevate has a body size of 4,312 x 1,790 x 1,650 mm and a wheelbase of 2,650mm. Compared with the Asia-Pacific standard Yaris Cross, the body size is 4,310 x 1,770 x 1,615 mm and the wheelbase is 2,620 mm. The two have similar body shapes, but they are smaller than the Japanese standard. The Yaris Cross is slightly larger.

Elevate adopts a rugged and square appearance design, and enhances its dynamic atmosphere through new LED head and tail lights, a large-area water tank guard, and scratch-resistant front and rear bumpers with matte silver lower guards. The car is equipped with a 7-inch TFT semi-digital instrument and a 10.25-inch vertical touch screen.
In terms of power, Elevate is equipped with the same 1.5-liter i-VTEC naturally aspirated gasoline engine as City, with a power output of 121 hp/14.8 kg-m. The transmission is available with a 6-speed manual or CVT. When entering the Japanese market, e :HEV fuel-electric system for better fuel consumption performance.
