Hong Jin-ho participated in the 12th ‘5000 Dollar Freezeout No Limit Hold’em’ event of the ‘2023 World Series of Poker (WSOP)’ held in Las Vegas, USA from the 4th (local time) to the 7th . He placed 4th out of 735 participants and won $208,158 in prize money.

He tried to win the championship, but lost a chip while defending against the aggressive play of the Japanese player, Nozomu Shimizu, and finished in 4th place.

The WSOP is the most prestigious poker tournament in the world. Hong Jin-ho won his first WSOP championship last year.
