Pala: A young woman has died of a brain haemorrhage after being vaccinated against covid, a private hospital has said. The Mar Sleeva Hospital in Pala reported the death of Mahima Mathew, a native of Kanjirapally. Meanwhile, the family of the deceased alleged that there was a medical malpractice.

Oxford Astra Seneca Kovid vaccine has been found in foreign research to be extremely rare, causing blood clots in some people. The other day, British researchers found that one in 50,000 people could develop the condition. The Center had last month reported 26 such incidents in India. But this is the first time in Kerala that vaccination has been blamed for deaths.

The controversy stemmed from the hospital’s death report stating that the vaccine could cause cerebral hemorrhage. A subsequent initial postmortem report indicated that hemorrhage in the brain was the cause of death. Mahima CoviShield was vaccinated on the 6th of this month. Before and after the injection at the primary health center
Mahima came to Mar Sleeve and saw the doctor. She was confirmed to be pregnant after taking the vaccine. From the eleventh day there was a headache.

On the thirteenth he sought treatment at the hospital. Fifteen was again admitted to the hospital in critical condition. Hospital officials said the brain death occurred within half an hour. The hospital said there was no medical error. Minister VN Vasavan clarified that the incident will be investigated.

In this time of the second outbreak of the Kovid epidemic, Asianet News urges everyone to wear masks, sanitize, maintain social distance and be vaccinated. Together we can defeat this epidemic. #BreakTheChain #ANCares #IndiaFightsCorona
