Hotel quarantine is waived in the UK for those coming from India

London: Britain eases restrictions on immigrants from India. A 10-day hotel quarantine is mandatory for those coming from India after receiving two doses of the vaccine. Institutional quarantine became mandatory after India was removed from the Red List.

From now on, those coming from India will have to spend ten days self-monitoring at home or anywhere. Quarantine may be terminated if the covid is negative after five days of testing. The Kovid test must be performed within three days before departure from India. You also need to book in advance for the two Covid tests to be done upon arrival in the UK. Apart from India, UAE, Qatar and Bahrain have also been dropped from the red list.
