According to SBS on the 21st, the prosecution, which is investigating Park Jin-hong (54), Park Jin-hong (54), Park Soo-hong’s older brother, is investigating whether his wife Lee accomplice.
The real estate owned by Mr. Lee, a housewife, alone is said to be estimated to be about 20 billion won, and the prosecutors are said to have asked for an explanation about the acquisition process and the source of the money.
After only buying a shopping mall in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul in 2004, Lee and her husband Park jointly bought an apartment in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, worth 2 billion won, and an apartment in Sangam-dong, worth 1.7 billion won. In addition, Lee and her husband are said to have jointly owned 8 shopping malls in Magok-dong, Gangseo-gu, which are estimated to be worth more than 10 billion won.
It is also known that prosecutors are investigating the fact that Park Jin-hong and his wife changed two commercial buildings in Sangam-dong and Magok-dong, which were private names in early 2020, to the name of the Yere corporation.
Mr Lee is also suspected of having paid 8 million won a day from Park Soo-hong’s personal bank account by paying for a high-end fitness center to a women’s and children’s academy with the corporate card of Park Soo-hong’s agency .
Park Jin-hong was arrested on the 13th for theft under the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Certain Economic Crimes, after establishing a management corporation with his wife and embezzling 11.6 billion won, including appearance fees, without keeping his promise to profit sharing with Soo-hong Park.
