Reports have emerged that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who provided a private jet to a Saudi national team player injured in Qatar’s 2022 World Cup match against Argentina, will give each player a Rolls-Royce this. It is an expensive car worth 1.3 billion won.

The Malaysian media ‘Malay Mail’ reported on the 25th (Korea time), “All Saudi Arabian players who win the group match against football powerhouse Argentina will receive a Rolls-Royce as a prize.”

The Malaysian Mail said, “The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman, will provide each player with a RM6 Million Rolls-Royce Phantom.”

“This is not the first time that the royal family of Saudi Arabia has given a Rolls-Royce to a footballer,” said the MalayMail. Al Owiran, who scored one of the best goals of the World Cup against Belgium in 1994, received a similar gift.”

Earlier, on the 22nd (Korea time), Saudi Arabia earned a 2-1 victory from behind champions Argentina in the first leg of Group C of the Qatar 2022 World Cup group stage held at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar.

However, in the second half of extra time just before the victory, Saudi goalkeeper Muhammad Uwais and defender Yasir Shahrani clashed violently.

Shahrani, who was hit on the chin by Uwais’ knee, fell headfirst to the floor. Fortunately, he regained consciousness, but it was reported that Shahrani was seriously injured and unable to play the rest of the World Cup.

UAE daily Gulf Today reported that “Crown Prince bin Salman has prepared a private jet to Germany (for Shahrani’s emergency operation).”

After the dramatic victory, King Salman of Saudi Arabia declared a temporary holiday to commemorate the team’s stunning victory. It was also reported that Crown Prince bin Salman was seen hugging and rejoicing with his family.

Saudi Arabia will play the second round of Group C against Poland at 10:00pm on the 26th.
