Muscat Oman ministerial committee announces emergency aid for victims of Hurricane Shaheen The Council of Ministers of Oman has decided to provide an emergency first aid of 1000 Omani Rials to each household.
The ministerial committee was tasked with assessing the damage caused by Hurricane Shaheen. Rehabilitation work is underway to restore normalcy to the lives of the people affected by Hurricane Shaheen.
Oman is focusing on basic issues such as roads, drinking water and electricity. Meanwhile, the power supply in Muscat Governorate was completely restored after the power supply was disrupted. This was announced by the Oman Authority for Public Services Regulation. Power supply has also been fully restored in areas like Barka and Saham.
