Husband murdered by diving… Wanted for wife, accomplice

Three years ago, a man in his 30s who could not swim died while diving in a valley.

This incident that almost ended in a simple fatal accident.

The re-investigation began when the wife tried to get more than 800 million won in insurance money in the name of her deceased husband.

Prosecutors wanted the man’s wife and an accomplice, a man in his 30s, for murder.

A valley in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi-do.

In 2019, a 39-year-old Mo Yoon, who could not normally swim, died after diving here without being able to get out of the water.

At the time, the police concluded that it was a simple death.

However, five months later, the wife of Mr. Yoon, who died, requested the insurance company to pay a large amount of insurance money.

The life insurance in her husband’s name was a whopping 800 million won.

However, the investigation started again after a report from an acquaintance who thought the wife’s behavior was suspicious, and the suspicion was further amplified as it became known through a current affairs program of a broadcasting company.

In the end, the prosecution concluded that after re-investigation, the wife and the man they had an affair with the man drowned her husband in a valley and then deliberately did not rescue him and killed him.

Even before the incident, it was investigated that she had attempted murder twice, including feeding her husband mixed with toxic pufferfish blood and dropping her into a fishing spot.

In the end, Yoon’s wife killed her husband, but when the insurance company refused to pay the life insurance, she reported to the media including MBC, saying, “I had an accident while diving.

They appeared at the prosecution at the end of last year and were investigated, but their whereabouts have not been identified for three months after they fled ahead of the second investigation.

Prosecutors wanted Yoon’s wife, Lee Eun-hae, 31, and accomplice, 30-year-old Hyun-soo Jo, publicly and requested information from citizens.
