The Hydrogen Convergence Alliance, also known as H2KOREA, has announced that it will be hosting the inaugural Clean Hydrogen Policy Forum on the 13th of this month. The event will take place at KINTEX in Goyang and will see participation from 149 member companies of H2KOREA and 21 countries affiliated with the Global Hydrogen Industry Association.
During the forum, attendees can look forward to a panel discussion as well as presentations on both domestic and international clean hydrogen policies and industry trends.
In the first part of the forum, the focus will be on introducing domestic hydrogen policies and the industry as a whole. Director Lee Hye-jin from H2KOREA will discuss Korea’s hydrogen policy and the trends in clean hydrogen certification systems. Additionally, Park Hee-beom, the team leader of the Korea Power Exchange, will delve into the market trends surrounding hydrogen power generation proposals. Lastly, Director Kim Young-joo from the Korea Electric Power Corporation will shed light on the carbon neutral policy and hydrogen-ammonia co-firing power generation technology.
Moving on to the second part of the forum, the spotlight will be on the global landscape of clean hydrogen policies. Tiziana Campisi, PM of H2Global, will present the clean hydrogen industry trends in Italy, while Katerina Aleksoska, GM of the Australian Hydrogen Council, will discuss the corresponding trends in Australia. The session will be expertly moderated by Professor Jeyong Yoon from Seoul National University.
An official from the Hydrogen Convergence Alliance expressed their hopes that this forum will provide an opportunity to examine and delve into the clean hydrogen policy trends being pursued by each country. Furthermore, the forum aims to facilitate detailed discussions on ways to foster collaboration in the wider global clean hydrogen industry.
