Hyundai Motor Group – SK On signed a Memorandum of Understanding for battery supply cooperation in North America

Hyundai Motor Group and SK On will join hands to target the US electric vehicle market and ensure future leadership in the electric vehicle market.

On the 29th, Hyundai Motor Group and SK On held a North American electric car battery event at the SK Group Headquarters (SK Seorin Building) located in Jongno-gu, Seoul, which was attended by the Head of the Hyundai Motor Group Planning and Coordination Office for Growth Planning in the Future /EV Head of Business Vice President Kim Heung-soo, SK On SK On Choi Yeong-chan, General Manager Management Support, etc. A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed for supply cooperation.

Based on this strategic alliance, both parties decided to pursue a plan to supply SK batteries to Hyundai Motor Group’s electric vehicle factory in the United States after 2025. .
