Mumbai: Gujarati all-rounder Jayadev Unadkat tweeted to the BCCI following the announcement of India’s squad for the series against New Zealand.
Unadkat tweeted a video of himself batting in a domestic match. The Gujarati cricketer also titled the video ‘Another Pace Bowler Who Knows Batting’.
This tweet of the star is to share the disappointment of not getting a place in the team. The ICC has considered Venkatesh Iyer as an all-rounder to replace the out-of-form Hardik Pandya. The BCCI’s team selection was to beat Unadkat, who is senior to Iyer.

Unadkat is currently leading Saurashtra in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He also scored a half-century in the match against Hyderabad in Sultanpur. Under his captaincy, Saurashtra finished second in Elite Group E. The team has won four of the five matches.
