1Srilekha IPS is the woman who filed a false case against her in 996. Even after being acquitted by the court in that case, lawyer, woman worker and activist P.V. Vijayamma Srilekha does not think or act from a woman’s point of view. Vijayamma revealed that in relation to the incident in which a 14-year-old girl fell into a well and died, she had grown up to slut-sham the girl and even then she took a favorable stance towards the accused. Vijayamma told Mathrubhumi.com that these developments took place in 1996 when Srilekha was Pathanamthitta SP.

I have heard that years ago there was a legal battle between you, three women including Bindu Ammini and Srilekha and the court acquitted you. In connection with the same incident, it was seen that Bindu Ammini also revealed on FB that Sreelekha was caught in a false case of knocking out her neighbor’s tooth. Can you explain about that incident involving you and Bindu Amini?
It all started in 1996. The news that the 14-year-old girl was found dead in a well at home in a mysterious accident came to be known through Tenarat. The news also says that the father and mother are not satisfied with the investigation. On the basis of writing in the weeklies etc. in favor of women, S.P. It was decided that the matter should be brought up to Aya Srilekha. Meanwhile, another girl named Bindu (Bindu Ammini) was taken to the YWC with a head injury. Bindu also shared his complaint that the police is not filing a case even after seeing Shoshamma Danielle in the hostel verandah. Bindu was then invited to the women’s meeting organized to intervene in the issue of the girl’s death in the well. Then I along with lawyer Sheeba and Bindu Ammini decided to go and see Srilekha. They informed that they will do what is necessary in Bindu’s case. Later, when we pointed out the issue of the child who fell and died in the well, Srilekha gave a very bad moral speech. Srilekha asked the question that she is a girl who has been in contact with men since the age of nine and what have you seen that you are advocating for that girl. The child’s mother is a bad woman. Srilekha said without any basis that she went to a program other than Alappuzha Medical College and that her mother and mole are not right. On the day of the incident, this mother had taken Molly home to Alappuzha Vandanam Medical College to see a doctor when her younger son fell ill. This is something I have personally investigated. As they could not see the doctor that day, the mother and younger brother stayed there at a relative’s house. When he comes home the next evening, he opens the window and finds the whole house in disarray. After three days of searching, the child is found dead in the well. Srilekha spoke very badly about that child. Srilekha asked, “When the locals came to know about the bad lifestyle, they jumped into the well and died. Did you come with a recommendation for that case?” When asked how you got the information that the child has been having sexual intercos since the age of 9, Srilekha replied that it is in the post-mortem report, but I had the post-mortem report in my hand. I asked why the postmortem report does not say anywhere that the child has been having sex since the age of 9 and at what point such allegations are leveled against the child. They were ashamed. There was a big argument. Then they implicate the three of us in a false case. When the phone came from the collectorate, they even accused me of pushing the phone away without agreeing to pick it up.
An attack by touching the body as per the case filed by MrDid you mean that there was no objection from your side to the article?
The body was not even touched. They are calli. If they bite their tongues, they will only tell lies. When there was an argument that day, I looked at their faces and told them, “You are anti-women, your actions and words are two, and you are not what is written in the media.” They got angry and filed a case against us, saying that we are Naxals and have gone to attack in an organized manner. A case was filed against me under many sections. They also tried to deny me bail. They were put under a lot of pressure to protest. Finally we got bail and got out. They are women who have no mercy towards women.
What happened to the case?
The case was investigated by the Crime Branch. TP Senkumar was in charge of the investigation. I.P.C. They had charged me with all the sections of 323 including harassment. Convinced that the case was fabricated, all those sections were dropped and finally a case was filed under the section of obstructing the execution of law and trespassing without permission. The Ranni Magistrate Court acquitted me in that case. After that many cases against Bindu Ammini came again. We have immunity as lawyers. But they hunted Bindu.
Did Srilekha have to face this kind of experience?
They had made some allegations against me on this issue through their own YouTube channel. In 2017, they wrote untrue things in a weekly regarding the case. “When I was the SP of Pathanamthitta, there was a problem with a woman lawyer. Two boys were arrested in a case where a girl committed suicide by jumping into a well. It was written that this lawyer instigated a case of murder against those boys. When the collector’s phone came, he did not agree to pick it up, he grabbed it by hand and then apologized and beat the lawyer. When the chief minister came to Pathanamthitta, he was afraid that action would be taken against him. When Nayanar asked him if he had hit him, Srilekha wrote in the weekly that Nayanar had beaten him up, sir, and laughingly congratulated Srilekha. It was such a big lie.
You were attacked for saying this. But didn’t they file a case for attacking them?
That’s what I said, if they say it, they will lie. In Newgen’s terms, it is being rejected. Nayanar is not alive and they are sure that they will not object. They say it in that confidence.
Did you proceed with legal action?
We have sent the lawyer notice. But they didn’t mention my name. The name is not mentioned because it will go to deformation.
You must have seen the statements she made in favor of Dileep. There is a big controversy. How do you look at those comments as a lawyer?

It is even said that there was a conspiracy to include Dileep, who was not included in the case?
Do they mean that the actress did the plotting? Why did they not arrest the conspirators while in service? They are not involved in the investigation of this case in any way. Is this something that should be said in retirement and sitting at home on a YouTube channel? If you see the reactions of many people, it seems as if the money in hand is being spent to favor the public sentiment in the investigation of the accused with crores of income.
Srilekha says that if the accused writes a letter asking him to send a money order of Rs 300 in the case where he was promised Rs 1 crore, the accused should not open up about the conspiracy immediately after arresting the accused, so Dileep is innocent.
None of us should take any statement made by Srilekha seriously. How much they wrote against what happened in my case. She is the woman who even wrote in the media that the Chief Minister congratulated the police officer who always beat her. But what happened in the case and in the court was different
What happened to the case of the girl who died after falling into the well?
In that case, the case was filed in such a way that the accused instigated suicide. The case was dismissed due to insufficient evidence.
