According to foreign media such as CBS in the United States on the 28th local time, 21 teenagers died at a bar in East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa on the 25th. They attended a party to celebrate the end of school exams.

Twelve boys and nine girls between the ages of 13 and 17 were killed. It is believed that he died between 2:13 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.

Police Commissioner Becky Selé said: “They literally died dancing, and some others may have died while sitting on the sofa because they felt dizzy.”

Muniane Shinobuyu, a pub worker, told AFP that people were trying to escape.

“There were calls to get out of the way and voices saying that there were people who couldn’t breathe,” he said. “I was out of breath and there was a strong smell in the air. I thought it was pepper spray. has been recovered,” he explained.

“I got up and looked around and saw people dead,” he added. “People poured water on them, but they didn’t move.”

Eastern Cape health officials said survivors were being treated for symptoms such as vomiting, headache and chest tightness.

Investigative authorities are conducting an autopsy to determine whether the dead were poisoned.
