According to Tribune News on the 14th, the incident took place on the afternoon of the 9th at Singka Zoo in Singkawang, West Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Ilham (49), who works as a driver, got out of the car and replaced the tire when a tire went flat while taking a family outing to the zoo.

Ilham, who had his hands dirty while changing tires, approached to wash his hands when he saw a pond over the fence with deer.

The party said, “Let’s go to the bathroom and wash ourselves”, but Ilham put his hand in the pond saying, “There is nothing in the pond.”

As soon as he put his hand in, Ilham bitten by a crocodile screamed and struggled to get away from the crocodile.

Ilham managed to escape without being dragged into the pond, but lost his right arm.

Ilham, who had regained his strength at the hospital, said he did not see any signs of crocodiles around the pond, complaining of injustice and hired a lawyer.

Ilham’s lawyer said that the zoo had not paid any compensation so far, and asked the police to investigate.

In response, the zoo side said it was embarrassing, saying that Ilham did not come through the fence.
