It was belatedly known that actress Lim Chae-moo was appearing on a medical volunteer program under her name as a no-guarantee.
According to Star Today on the 21st, Im Chae-moo has been filming for ENA’s ‘Lim Chae-moo’s Romantic Doctor’, which has been airing since last April, without paying an appearance fee.
Regarding this, Lim Chae-moo told the media, “I’ve always wanted to do volunteer work for people who do not go to the hospital even if they are sick.
‘Romantic Doctor Lim Chae-Moo’ is a program in which romantic doctors who have left the city go to rural areas of the country where medical facilities are insufficient to provide medical services. Lim Chae-moo visits the elderly in the countryside with a medical volunteer team every week and listens to their stories.
This is not the first time Lim Chae-moo’s story has been told. Im Chae-moo has been running the amusement park ‘Doori Land’ for free for over 30 years this year. Regarding this, he said, “At first, I received an entrance fee, but one family couldn’t come in because there was no entrance fee. So, we just removed the ticket office and did not receive an admission fee,” he explained.
He also said about the amusement park operation, “I got a loan from the beginning of the business, and I’m still paying the interest that I borrowed 4 billion won. Even now, the remaining debt is about 14.5 billion won.”
