The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) pointed out that the lack of diplomacy is the biggest concern, saying that North Korea is doing its best to develop nuclear weapons in all areas.
According to US Broadcasting System (VOA) on the 22nd (local time), IAEA Secretary-General Rafael Grosi said the day before, “North Korea is researching nuclear development in all possible fields.” It is in progress. There are signs that other facilities are also operating.”
“North Korea is doing its best to develop nuclear weapons,” Grosi said. We have to prepare for the huge ripple effect we will face at this time,” he added.
“The biggest concern is the lack of diplomatic dialogue,” the secretary-general said, adding, “We must move forward so that tensions on the Korean Peninsula can be alleviated and denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula can be achieved.”
In recent years, North Korea has conducted eight times of armed demonstrations this year, conducting various weapons tests, including test-firing of a hypersonic missile Hwasong-8 and a new submarine-launched ballistic missile (SLBM).
