ICC Test Ranking: India regains top spot behind Kiwis; Know the new ranking

Dubai: Team India regained the number one spot in the ICC Test Rankings. India beat New Zealand (New Zealad). With the 1-0 series win over the Kiwis, Virat Kohli and his team have topped the rankings. India have 124 points. Three points more than second-placed New Zealand.

Australia is in third place. Winning the upcoming Ashes series will help Australia improve their points tally. Australia currently have 108 points. Fourth-placed England have 107 points. Performance in the Ashes will change England’s ratings. Pakistan are fifth with 92 points. Winning the ongoing series against Bangladesh will significantly change Pakistan’s ratings.

South Africa are sixth with 88 points. They will now play a three-match series against India. The series 2-0 win over the West Indies also helped Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka are seventh with 83 points.

The Windies are eighth, eight points behind them. Bangladesh (49) and Zimbabwe (31) are ranked ninth and tenth respectively. Afghanistan and Ireland are not in the rankings.
