Indian selectors have to hear a lot of criticism for the inclusion of Rishabh Pant in India’s World Cup squad. Several people came forward saying that it was not right to include out-of-form Rishabh Pant in the team and that it was a wrong decision to give Pant a chance after Sanju Samson.

Not only Sanju fans and some Indian cricket fans, even foreign cricketers were against Pant’s inclusion in the team.

But now former Australian player Matthew Hayden has come to a completely different opinion. The former Australian opening batsman said that Rishabh Pant is a very talented player and therefore the Indian team should support him.

In the first match of the Australia-India series, India fielded Dinesh Karthik in place of Ball. But Dinesh Karthik’s dismissal after scoring just six runs was a blow to the team. After this, Hayden has come to say that the ball needs to be put on the field.

“If I were a selector, I would have picked Rishabh Pant in any format. He is the future. India should be ready to back the ball and give more time. No matter how you look at it, he’s a one-and-done player. So I think it should be played anyway,’ Hayden said.

Hayden’s words must have given Ball a lot of excitement and enthusiasm. Because a few days ago former Pak star spinner Danish Kaneria came out criticizing the ball.

He spoke against Pant’s inclusion in the squad while also criticizing Sanju Samson for hitting him.

Kaneria said that the talent of the players should be considered while selecting the team and not the relationship with the senior players. Kaneria also says that given Pant’s recent performances, he should never be an automatic selection.

Kaneria said these things through his YouTube channel. ‘India should put aside their friendlies and announce the team. Rishabh Pant has never been a good T20 player. He is best suited for 50 over games and Test cricket.

Pant is a great player. But to the question of whether he deserves a place in India’s T20 squad, I feel no,” Kaneria said.
