If the Titanic is eaten, what will happen to the ship that is sunk under the sea?

There is hardly anyone who has not heard of the Titanic. Although the builders claimed it would never crash, the ship did crash on its maiden voyage. On April 10, 1912, the huge luxury liner, which was traveling from Southampton, England to New York, USA, hit a huge iceberg in the Atlantic Ocean on April 15 and split in two. There were approximately 2200 passengers on board. It is estimated that more than 1500 people were killed. What happened to the Titanic after it sank into the icy depths of the Atlantic?

There were several attempts to retrieve the wreck from the bottom of the ocean, but none of them were successful. That is, the huge ship Titanic could not be brought out completely. Who found the wreck and how did it happen? What happened to the Titanic under the sea?

More than 110 years after the accident, the remains of the Titanic remain there. An interesting fact is that today the remains of the Titanic are food for a group of bacteria.

The Titanic was fed entirely by a bacteria called Halomonas titanicae, which eats away the rust. With thousands of tons of rust left behind, the Titanic becomes, in short, a rich feast for bacteria.

Halomonas bacteria, less than two micrometers in size and barely visible to the naked eye, will engulf the Titanic whole within the next decade or so.

Cursed by bacteria, Titanic is also home to many undersea creatures. Many creatures still live in the Titanic, including rattail fish, herring crabs and starfish.

70 years after the sinking of the Titanic, it was discovered under the sea for the first time. Robert Ballard, the US Navy officer who found the ship, actually sank in the deep sea, but not the Titanic. He accidentally discovered the wreck of the Titanic while searching for two sunken American nuclear warships.

Blallard was actually a member of a secret team tasked with finding nuclear submarines. For this purpose, a probe was built to be buried a thousand feet down in the sea. The wreckage of the Titanic was found aboard the spaceship Argo.

Scientists have begun to study what changes have happened to the Titanic after it has been under the sea for so long. In 1991, a group of scientists at the University of Seville in Spain discovered that the Titanic was being eaten by bacteria.

This discovery was made by examining the wreckage collected from under the sea. The researchers then looked at how the bacteria ate the solid iron. Bacteria enter the Titanic by dissolving the iron into a slightly corroded form using a chemical.

Scientists are now wondering why not use the same bacteria that ate the Titanic to get rid of the iron waste under the sea. Come to think of it, that’s not such a bad idea.

There is no better idea than this to rid the seabed of so much rubbish. But the problem is that they don’t curse all garbage.
