The ‘Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition’ released by Samsung Electronics the day before is being sold on second-hand trading sites even before delivery. It is intended to leave a difference through resale, but it is pointed out that end-users are being harmed.

According to industry sources on the 26th, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition, released at 00:00 the previous day, sold out all the prepared quantities within 5 minutes of sales. At the Galaxy Campus Store, Samsung Electronics’ official education discount store, it sold out around 12:40 pm.

It is analyzed that the strategy to awaken consumers’ memories was effective, such as including popular Pokemon stickers for the Galaxy Flip Pokemon Edition, while SPC recently released ‘Pokemon Bread’, which is gaining popularity.

This edition consists of a terminal, a clear cover, and Pokemon accessories (Pikachu key ring, Pokemon palette, Pokemon book design leather pouch, Monster Ball 3D grip talk, 5 popular Pokemon stickers), etc. The price is 128,400 won, slightly higher than the basic model (1254,000 won).

Samsung Electronics plans to deliver products sequentially to buyers from this day (26th), but the so-called ‘resale’ is booming as sales articles have been posted on used trading sites since the previous day.

If you search for ‘Galaxy Z Flip 3 Pokemon Edition’ on an online second-hand trading site on that day, dozens of sales articles are posted if you upload it from the previous day. In general, they were sold at a price similar to the original factory price, but there were cases where they were often sold at a higher price with a higher price.

One member said, “It is a phantom black color, and if anyone wants to purchase it, I will change the shipping address.” He said, “It is scheduled to arrive on Tuesday, so you will be able to get it faster than anyone else,” and offered a price of 1.14 million won.

In some cases, premiums of more than 20,000 won were attached. The member offered the product at 1.5 million won, which is 200,000 won higher than the list price, saying, “We sell the ordered product by changing the address.”

What is the reason for reselling products that you will not use at the same time you buy them? This is because if you purchase a product with a discount, you will get a profit even if you sell the product at the regular price.

The Thom Browne Edition, which includes the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Buds 2, was priced at 2695,000 won. Although the price is rather high, the rarity of the limited edition was sometimes overpriced up to 1.8 million won.
