Illinois & Ayo Dosunmu, Giorgi Bezhanishvili brush big foreign major brush | Illini

On Monday, it was announced that Bezhanishvili was the Big Ten Weekend basketball player and Dosunmu was the Big Ten Younger of the Week in the weekly weekly press prizes of the conference.

Bezhanishvili average media 25.5 points and 6.0 rebounds and 69.0 percent shooting from the floor to help the Illini to 2-0 weeks. He broke the modern scoring record of 29 years of age (formerly Deon Thomas owned by 34 on December 3, 1990) with 35 high career points in the successful Illini victory against Rutgers.

The Illinois player played 35 points in one game since Malcolm Hill scored 40 points on November 13, 2016. He played 14 out of the floor against Scarlet Knights for the goals Most played in a game by Illini player since Thomas made 16 goal goals in a game in 1991. Bezhanishvili wins 29 out of 35 points in the second half and overtime. Hill was the last Illinois player who won the prize, which he won on November 14, 2016.

Average Dosunmu cereals 18.0 points, 4.0 help, 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals in two of Illinois victories. He scored 24 high game points against the State of Michigan and was 8 out of 14 from the floor and 4 out of 8 from land 3 points. He scored 12 points with six help, five rebounds and two of the Saturday against Rutgers. This is the first Big Ten Younger of the Week prize, and the first Illini win from Frazier who won last February on 12.
