SBS Plus ‘I’m Solo’ received a recommendation from the Korea Communications Standards Commission.

At a regular meeting of the Broadcasting Deliberation Subcommittee on the 12th, the vigilance committee received a complaint saying, ‘It was unpleasant to watch the broadcast without the involvement of the production crew even though the male performer was violent, such as pushing or intimidating the female performer’. Solo’ was decided like this.

‘Recommendation’ corresponds to administrative guidance given when it is judged that the violation of regulations related to broadcasting review is not at the level that is subject to legal sanctions.

Unlike statutory sanctions, administrative guidance does not act as a direct deduction factor when reviewing broadcasters’ relicensing/reapproval.

In the 4th season of ‘I’m Solo’, which was aired on December 1, last year, the male performer Yeong-cheol (pseudonym) frowned at the female performer Jeong-jae (pseudonym) with rude words and attitudes.

On a 3:1 meal date, Yeongcheol said, “How long are you going to stay like this?” “Can I ask how much you care about me?” “Love is made with the heart, not the head. I’m doing it with my head right now.”

After the broadcast, Jeongja said, “(Due to Yeongcheol’s words and actions at the time) I am having a difficult time to the point of receiving hospital treatment.”

However, Young-cheol did not care and publicly criticized the female performers.
