In Jammu and Kashmir, 10 workers were trapped when a tunnel under construction collapsed

New Delhi: Ten workers were trapped when a tunnel under construction collapsed in Jammu and Kashmir. Three people were rescued from the accident. The accident took place at Ramban on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

At around 10 pm on Friday, a section of the tunnel collapsed while about 15 workers were on duty. Ten people were trapped inside. So far, only workers who were not inside the tunnel have been rescued.

The accident took place 30-40 meters inside the tunnel. Rescue work is in progress. The army has also reached the spot.
