Thiruvananthapuram: Kovid-19 has been confirmed for 18,123 persons in Kerala. During the last 24 hours, 59,314 samples were tested. The test positivity rate (TPR) is 30.55%. It has been confirmed today that 8 deaths in the last few days were due to Kovid. In addition, 150 deaths have been reported which have been appealed by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 50,832. 4749 people who were diagnosed and treated were cured.

The weekly Infection Population Ratio (WIPR) is 6 wards in 5 Local Government Areas above 10. There will be strict control here. There are currently 2,17,670 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 2,13,251 are under home / institutional quarantine and 4,419 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 528 people were newly admitted to the hospital.
Currently, out of 1,03,864 Kovid cases, only 4% of individuals are admitted to hospitals / field hospitals. Today, 113 of those diagnosed with the disease are from outside the state. 17,627 people were infected through contact. Source of contact 234 is not clear. A total of 149 health workers were affected by the disease. With this, 1,03,864 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. 52,23,430 have so far been freed from Kovid.
