Riyadh: 409 more people have been confirmed infected with the Kovid virus in Saudi Arabia today and 710 have recovered. Eleven people were killed in different parts of the country. The total number of confirmed Kovid cases in the country so far is 5,41,610 and the number of survivors is 5,27,899. The total death toll in the country was 8,469.
Currently, 5,242 people are in treatment. Of these, 1,162 are in critical condition. The health condition of the rest who are undergoing treatment is satisfactory. The overall cure rate in the country is 97.5 per cent and the mortality rate is 1.6 per cent. Number of newly reported patients in different provinces: Riyadh 126, Makkah 66, Eastern Province 40, Jizan 39, Al Qasim 29, Azir 29, Madinah 20, Najran 16, Hail 13, Northern Border Region 10, Tabuk 9, Al Baha 7, Al Jawf. 5. So far, 3,34,81,710 doses of Kovid vaccine have been distributed in the country, according to the Saudi Ministry of Health.
