Peta: Girl’s father stabs boyfriend to death in Trivandrum The incident took place on the Chalakudy line near Thiruvananthapuram. The deceased has been identified as Aneesh George, 19, of Pettah. Defendant Lalan surrendered at the police station after the murder. The incident took place at around 3 am today. Lalan searched the house with his weapon when he heard a noise from near his daughter’s room. He then knocked on his daughter’s door to open it, but when it did not open, he smashed the door and went inside.
Aneesh was stabbed when he saw a stranger in the room. Lalan then went to the police station and informed about the incident. Lalan told police that the young man was stabbed and had to be taken to hospital. Police arrived and rushed the young man to the medical college but he was pronounced dead. The body is being kept at Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. Aneesh George is a BCom first year student.
