Heo Min-woo, a 34-year-old man whose identity was revealed, was sentenced to 30 years in prison for killing a customer at a song bar in Incheon and throwing his body into a mountain for damage.
At the sentencing hearing held this afternoon, the Incheon District Court sentenced Heo Min-woo to 30 years in prison and a fine of 3 million won, who was indicted on charges of murder, destruction of a corpse, and abandonment of a corpse. He was also ordered to wear location-tracking electronics (electronic anklets) for 10 years.
The court said, “Even before the incident, he violated the ban on gatherings and was given a probation for other crimes. “The crime itself seems somewhat accidental, but the guilt is heavy,” he said.
Earlier, the prosecution requested a 30-year prison sentence for Huh, saying, “I damaged the victim’s fingerprints and even hit the skull with stones so that the identity of the body could not be confirmed.”
Heo Min-woo was arrested on April 22 at around 2:20 a.m. in Sinpo-dong, Incheon, where he had beaten and killed a customer in his 40s and then desecrated and abandoned the body. At the time, they had an argument with an additional fee of 100,000 won, but it was revealed that he committed the crime in anger when he was slapped twice by a customer.
