(Incheon = Yonhap News) The Korea Environment Corporation announced that a fine dust advisory has been issued for Yeongjong and Yeongheung, Incheon as of 8:00 am on the 21st.
The regions covered are Yongyudo, Junggu, Yeongjongdo (Yeongjong), and Yeongheung.
The hourly average fine dust advisory concentration for each region is 162 μg (microgram, one millionth of a g)/m3.
A fine dust advisory is issued when the hourly average fine dust concentration is 150 μg/m3 or higher for 2 hours.
Fine dust advisories continue to be issued in eight counties and gu districts in the southeast, west, and Ganghwa.
If the concentration of ultrafine dust or fine dust in the air increases, the elderly, children, people with respiratory diseases, and people with cardiovascular disease should refrain from outdoor activities.
Even healthy adults should reduce their outdoor activity time and wear a mask when going out.
