Kolkata: Dinesh Karthik, the wicket-keeper and commentator, said leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal would be an integral part of the Indian team for the 2022 T20 World Cup. Next year, Australia will host the T20 World Cup. The non-inclusion of Chahal in the Indian squad for this year’s World Cup, which ended in the UAE, was widely criticized.
After getting a chance in the third match of the T20 series against New Zealand, Yusvendra Chahal’s team is back in action in India’s T20 projects. Yusvendra Chahal returns to the Indian T20 squad after a stellar performance in the UAE stage of IPL 2021. In the Indian stage, he took only four wickets in seven matches, while in the UAE he took 14 wickets in eight matches. The economy of India is 8.26 and that of the UAE is 7.06. Returning in the third T20I against New Zealand, he bowled four overs and conceded 26 runs before dismissing half-century Martin Guptill.
