New Delhi: The central government has breached the security imposed on the UK High Commission in Delhi. UK The security barricades in front of the High Commission were removed. This action follows the Khalistan protest and violence against the Indian High Commission in London.

In the attack on the Indian High Commission in London, India had protested strongly in front of the British authorities regarding security. Khalistan protesters who climbed onto the balcony of the Indian High Commission tried to pull down the national flag.

The barricades erected outside the UK mission at Chanakyapuri Shantipath in Delhi and the barricades in front of British High Commissioner Alex Ellis’ residence at Rajaji Marg were removed on Wednesday afternoon. Although the barricades have been removed, it is not clear whether the number of security personnel deployed here has been reduced. No official notification has been released in this regard.

A spokesperson for the British High Commission responded by saying that they do not comment on security issues.
