India reports 16,764 new covid cases | India covid update | Kovid outbreak on the rise again in the country; 16,764 cases were reported in 24 hours

New Delhi: The number of Kovid cases is on the rise again in the country. A total of 16,764 cases were reported in the country in 24 hours. For the third day in a row, there has been an increase in Kovid cases. The highest daily covid cases in the last 71 days occurred in 24 hours. This brings the total number of Kovid cases in the country to 34,838,804.

There are currently 91,361 active cases in the country. The disease rate in the country is 98.36 per cent. Delhi and Mumbai have the highest number of confirmed cases of Kovid. In addition, the disease is endemic in Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru and Ahmedabad. The Omicron Kovid variety is spreading rapidly in Delhi. Reports indicate that there is potential for community expansion as well.

Health Minister Rajesh Tope said the situation in Maharashtra was “worrying”. Maharashtra is the worst affected state in the country. Maharashtra is the worst affected state in the first two Kovid types of gangs. Kovid controls in the state have been tightened in this case.

Meanwhile, a 52 – year – old man from Nigeria died of a heart attack in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra. He has been confirmed by Omikron on examination. He died on the 28th of this month. But the cause of death has not been confirmed to be Omicron.

The reproduction value of the virus (R value) rose to 1.22 as the number of omicron cases increased. A R value above one is an indication that the spread of the virus is intensifying. The R-value measures the average number of people infected with the virus out of 10 infected. If the R value is one, it means that every tenth person infected with Kovid spreads the virus to ten more people.
