Kanpur: Every day, Rahul Dravid is different from his former India coaches. Indian cricket fans are looking forward to Dravid as the head coach, who has molded the current Indian youth squad. Now another variant of Dravid is being discussed.
The coach of the Indian team paid homage to the ground staff by making the best pitch for the Kanpur Test match. Dravid had gifted Rs 35,000 from his own pocket to a team led by ground staff, Shiva Kumar, who had prepared the pitch for the Green Park Stadium.

The Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association said this at a post-match press conference. The UPCA has announced that India head coach Rahul Dravid has paid Rs 35,000 to their ground staff for preparing the best pitch for the match.

India and New Zealand drew in the first Test today. The Kiwis were relieved to have the tail end of Indian-origin Rachin Vindra and Ajaz Patel.
