Openers Rohit Sharma (19) and Ishant Kishan (2) were the other notable contributors to Kohli’s 52 off 41 balls. Rishabh was unbeaten on 52 off 28 balls.

Venkatesh Iyer scored 33 runs. Suryakumar Yadav scored eight runs and Herschelle Patel one not out.

Roshan Chase took three wickets for the Windies. Sheldron Cottrell and Romario Shepherd took one wicket each.

West Indies won the toss and elected to field When Fabian Allen was replaced by West Indies’ Jason Holder, India kept 11 in the first innings unchanged.
