Manama: The Muharraq team won the indoor badminton tournament organized as part of the Youth India Bahrain Youth Carnival. Ijaz and Jaseem, who played for Muharraq, defeated the Rifa team of Abdu Ahad and Shami in the finals of the 11-team tournament. The winners were felicitated by Youth India President VK. The representative of the Friends’ Social Society, Faisal, presented the trophy to Anees and the runners-up as well. Abdu Ahad, Ijaz and Faisal led the tournament.
