Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya retires

Mumbai: Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is retiring from Test cricket. Inside Sport has reported this quoting a BCCI official. The player’s decision to retire from one format is due to fitness issues.

‘He hopes to retire from Test cricket and focus more on fixed-over cricket. However, Hardik is not currently part of our test plan. But retiring would be a huge loss for the team. We need to have a backup ready, ”the BCCI official said.
