Intensification of Kovid again in the state. With Kovid confirming another 17,755 people yesterday, the test positive rate rose to 26.92 per cent. About a quarter of those examined are Kovid. The situation is dire in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode districts.
TPR in Thiruvananthapuram has been above 32 for the last three days. Yesterday, the TPR in Ernakulam was above 33. No more than 50 persons will be allowed for ceremonies in districts above 20 TPR.
