The Argentine Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino, coach of Inter Miami, assured this Friday that he will be careful with the management of the Argentine Lionel Messi and that he would decide if the world champion will travel with the team to Atlanta to face United this Saturday in the MLS after training.
«It’s fine but we will see at the end of training to make a final decision. We will be very careful because we have a number of important games in the short term. We will talk day by day and see how they feel,” said Martino when talking about the situation of Messi and the other Inter Miami internationals.
‘Tata’ Martino was left with only twelve field players in the last two weeks due to the departures of his best footballers due to the FIFA date.

Messi has already returned from the Argentine concentration and Martino reported that he worked this Thursday.
“First we are going to determine if he is fit to travel and we would analyze not only this game but everything that lies ahead of us these days,” Martino said.
“The chances are that he travels, that he doesn’t travel, that he plays, that he goes to the bench, we will decide all of that after training,” he stressed.
Messi has eleven goals in eleven games with the Inter Miami shirt and was champion of the Leagues Cup in August, the first trophy in the history of his club.
He has one goal in three MLS games and did not find the net in the duels against Nashville and Los Angeles FC.
