[IOS 16]Rumors that iPhone 6s / 6s Plus and iPhone SE (1st generation) are not supported

According to 9to5Mac, iPhonesoft reports that iPhone 6s / 6s Plus and iPhone SE (1st generation) will not be supported on iOS 16. Rumor: iOS 16 to drop support for iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus and first-gen iPhone SE.

According to iPhonesoft, based on knowledge of someone running an internal seed, Apple plans to drop support for the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and the original iPhone SE.

It seems that “iOS 16” requires an A10 chip as the minimum spec.

For iPad, “iPad OS 16” is said to be non-compatible with the 2015 models of iPad mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad (5th generation), and iPad Pro.

Since the release of the “iPhone 6s” series is in 2015 and the release of the first generation “iPhone SE” is in 2016, I think that support has been continued so far.

The latest version of iOS now is “iOS 15.2”.
