IPL 2021 | ‘Picture Abhi Baki Hey’; IPL to start second quarter tomorrow Know the remaining matches and schedule of the season

The 14th season of the IPL, which had to be halted due to the crisis of Kovid expansion, will resume in the UAE tomorrow. The BCCI announced the suspension of the tournament on May 4 after Kovid spread to the tournament’s bio-bubble in the first quarter in India. When the mail tournament was stopped, only 29 matches were completed, with 31 matches remaining in the tournament. These will take place in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah in the UAE. In the 30th match of the season (the first match of the second quarter), defending champions Rohit Sharma’s Mumbai Indians will take on MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super Kings at the Dubai International Stadium.

The main attraction is the return of spectators to the stadiums during the tournament in the UAE. The BCCI had earlier said that spectators would be restricted to galleries in stadiums.

The IPL is also gaining attention as a warm-up match for the T20 World Cup in October. Most of the players in the World Cup squad from various teams around the world, including India, are part of the IPL. However, the withdrawal of key players due to Kovid fears and personal reasons has caused a small crisis for many teams. Six England players, including all-rounder Ben Stokes and pacer Joffrey Archer, and Australia pace bowler Pat Cummins have been ruled out.
