IPL 2022 | Excitement until the last ball; Lucknow beat Kolkata by two runs in the playoffs

Lucknow Super Giants beat Kolkata Knight Riders in a thrilling Super Bowl till the last ball of the IPL. Following on the big score, Kolkata were bowled out for two in Lucknow. Chasing a target of 211, Kolkata were bowled out for 208. Lucknow became the second team to reach the playoffs this season with a win over Kolkata.

Kolkata responded with a huge score by Quinton Decock and KL Rahul. Nitish Rana (42 off 22 balls) and skipper Shreyas Iyer (50 off 29 balls) batted early and then Rinku Singh (40 off 15 balls) and Sunil Narine (21 * off 7 balls) in the final overs.

He needed 21 runs in the last over to score 18 off the first four balls with two sixes and a four, but was bowled by Evin Lewis in the fifth over for an incredible one – handed catch.
