IPL 2022 schedule announced, CSK vs KKR in first match

A total of 70 league matches and four playoff matches will be played over 65 days

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 2022 schedule for the Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL matches will be played in Mumbai and Pune.

A total of 70 league matches and four playoff matches will be played over 65 days.

IPL season 15 starts with the Chennai Super Kings Kolkata Knight Riders match on March 26 at Wankhede Stadium.

Two matches will be played on March 27. Mumbai Indians-Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings-Royal Challengers Bangalore will play on Sunday.

The first match will be played on March 29 at the MCA Stadium in Pune. The match is between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals.

20 matches will be played at Wankhede Stadium, DY Patil Stadium and 15 matches each at Brabourne and MCA International Stadiums.

The matches are played every day at 7.30 pm. The first match will start at 3:30 pm on two-match days. The second match will be played on these days at 7.30 pm. There will be 12 such matches.

The last match of the league stage will be between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings on May 22 at Wankhede Stadium.

The schedule for the play-offs and IPL final on May 29 will be announced later.
