IPL 2022: BCCI announces IPL 2022 schedule

This is the 15th season of the Indian Premier League. The matches will start on March 26 this month, according to the schedule released by the BCCI. Reigning champions Chennai Super Kings will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match of the tournament. The inaugural match will be played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The match will be played at 7.30 pm Indian time. Meanwhile, the final match of IPL 2022 will be played at Wankhede against Punjab Kings Sunrisers Hyderabad.

The matches will be played at four international standard venues in Mumbai and Pune. There will be 55 matches in three venues in Mumbai and 15 matches in Pune. On days with two matches, the first match will be played at 3.30 pm.

This year the league is organized into two groups, so it will be more fun to watch. Also, in the first match, the top two teams will face each other this time.

With 10 teams this time around, the tournament is sure to be even more exciting. The newcomers are the Lucknow Super Giants and the Gujarat Titans.
