The Democratic Party protested against the prosecution’s collective action as intimidating the National Assembly.
The party leadership also criticized the prosecution’s selective investigation by repeatedly mentioning various allegations of Kim Kun-hee, wife of Yun Seok-yeol.

The Democratic Party defined the prosecution’s opposition to prosecutorial reforms, such as the law to separate the investigative powers, as a collective selfishness that does not want to lose its vested interests.
He warned that he had forgotten his duty as a public official, asking why the entire prosecution was so excited about the matter decided by the National Assembly, which is the legislative body.

“I can’t help deploring the prosecution’s behavior that shows collective action like an interest group. Do you mean to intimidate the National Assembly by believing in the powerful power of the prosecution?”
Criticism of the prosecution’s selective investigation in favor of the new government continued.
They demanded that the same investigation intensity and punishment standards applied to the motherland family be applied to Ms. Kim Kun-hee as well.

“From the point of view applied to Jo Min, Kim Kun-hee should be arrested immediately. Allegations of stock price manipulation, thesis plagiarism, and falsification of academic backgrounds are failing even a single step due to the negligence of the investigative agency.”
He explained that the resignation of the lawmakers to the National Assembly Judiciary Committee was also because the number of non-negotiating group members of the Planning and Finance Committee was three, and one of them, Rep. Yang Hyang-Ja, was exchanged with Rep. Park Seong-Jun, member of the Judiciary Committee.
The Democratic Party’s position is that it was done normally in accordance with the National Assembly Act.
As the Democratic Party’s move to promote the prosecution reform bill materializes, the National Assembly is under tension as the people’s strength announces that they will do their best to block the bill.
