Madgaon: The Kerla Blasters have started training for the second match of the ISL (ISL 2021-22). The Blasters will face NorthEast United Fc on Thursday. The absence of Malayalee player KP Rahul (Rahul KL) who returned from injury in the match against ATK Mohun Bagan FC (ATK Mohun Bagan FC) will be a setback for the Blasters. Rahul is expected to rest for four to six weeks.

In the first match, Sahal Abdul Samad’s goal was scored by Rahul’s assist. But Rahul left the ground with a hamstring injury after preparing for the goal. Further examination revealed the severity of the injury.

In the first match, Ivan Vukamanovic’s Blasters lost to ATK Mohan Bagan by four goals to two. Defensive line errors hit the team hard. Therefore, the Blasters’ goal is to correct mistakes and move forward. North East United lost to Bengaluru FC by a similar margin.
