In the wake of the Delta variant outbreak, Kovid took the second dose and Israel decided to give a booster dose to those over 40 years of age. For this, Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett received the third dose. Of the 93 lakh people in the country, 59 lakh have received the first dose.

54 lakh people have taken two doses. The booster dose has already been given to 13 lakh people. As the number of Kovid cases increased, the government imposed restrictions. Government figures show that the number of Kovid positive cases on Friday was 5.5 per cent.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved a booster dose for people with weakened immune systems. U.S. regulators say the decision was made because of the rapid spread of the Delta variant.
