Kochi: The investigation team has assessed that there is evidence that Dileep’s footage was found on seven mobile phones in the case of a conspiracy to assassinate the officers investigating the attack on the actress. The Crime Branch believes that the phones contained evidence of attempts to influence witnesses and were concealed at a time when police thought they would be taken into custody.
Dileep told Crime Branch that the phones were handed over to an IT expert for examination on the advice of a lawyer. This IT expert will be found and interviewed. Meanwhile, the crime branch is also investigating the allegation that the IT expert who checked another phone of Dileep died under mysterious circumstances.
Film director Baiju Kottarakkara has revealed this. Director Balachandra Kumar had also mentioned this to the investigation team. The crime branch recorded the statements of both. But the relatives of the IT expert who died in the road accident have not yet lodged a complaint.
Pulsar Suni takes mobile phone to ‘safe’ center
Pulsar Suni had said that on the night of February 17, 2017, when the actress was abducted and tortured, her mobile phone containing the footage of the crime was taken to a ‘safe’ center. It is alleged that the ambassador provided the information to the complainant.
The crime branch alleges that Dileep played a role in the drama, including in the Supreme Court, after possessing scenes of torturing the actress. Balachandra Kumar has revealed that the footage was obtained by Dileep in his presence. According to Balachandrakumar, the footage was brought to Dileep from Alappuzha by an unfamiliar person with a pen drive and a tablet.
Pulsar saw Dileep coming with his hand on Suni’s shoulder
According to Balachandra Kumar, one day before the film’s molestation case, when he was returning to Dileep’s house in Aluva for film discussions, he saw Pulsar Suni holding Dileep’s shoulder. Dileep’s brother returned in Anoop’s car that day. Balachandrakumar said that Dileep had asked Anoop to drop Suni at the bus stop in the same car.
Anoop introduced Suni to the car. This is still remembered because he was introduced as Pulsar Suni. Balachandrakumar had revealed that Dileep had told Suni to pay some money then.
