Like an older brother, Venuchettan was a close friend to me. How many movies have we done together? How many emotional moments Malayalam has brought to our hearts to present together.

The two have acted together in a number of films including Chitram, Thalavattom, Ballet and His Highness Abdullah. Both of them presented the audience with acting moments that Malayalees will never forget.

The news of Nedumudi Venu’s death came out this afternoon. He died at the KIMS Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram due to stomach ailments.

He has been active in Malayalam cinema for over four decades and has acted in over 500 films in Malayalam and Tamil.
