THIRUVANANTHAPURAM ∙ Leader of Opposition VD Satheesan will not say that the case against Perumbavoor MLA Eldos Kunnapilali is politically motivated. Satheesan also said that he had sought an explanation from Eldos Kunnappilly regarding the incident. Today, the District Crime Branch has registered a case against Eldos Kunnappilly on a charge of rape. This is followed by the opposition leader’s response.
“Eldos has asked for an explanation from Kunnapelli. It is not known if he escaped. Other matters arising in connection with the case will be examined. Anticipatory bail is usually not arrested. Then there is no need to go into hiding” – said VD Satheesan.
