iWork for Mac icon updated with macOS 12 Monterey

It turns out that the icons for each iWork for Mac app may be updated in the near future.

A new icon for the iWork for Mac app has been discovered in “macOS 12 Monterey beta 5” released by Apple for developers on the 11th local time.

The above image is the new icon discovered this time. iWork for Mac has three apps, Keynote, Numbers, and Pages, all of which are more colorful than the traditional bordered design. Since it is similar to that of the iOS version of iWork app, Apple seems to be planning to standardize each app icon.

By the way, the new icon found this time was found inside “macOS 12 Monterey beta 5”, so it is unknown whether it will be introduced in macOS 12 Monterey scheduled to be released this fall. It looks like it could be renewed in the next few years.
